I sea what you did there
Apparently its completely pointless to put the front gasket on. Fits better onto the donut gasket with it off, and it just bent the hell out of the flat gasket. Oh well lesson learned. |

I've always wanted to do The Seat Mod just to try it out. Thinner people seem to enjoy how much more huggy the seats get after this. I'm a big guy, so stock seats are fairly fine for me.

I'm not being a smartass, that's literally the link I found when I googled NASIOC and "Seat Mod". Some good links there. |

Can't hurt to try it, it does make a difference. I unhooked everything and it feels much tighter.

Make sure the S clips are not able to poke a hole through the seat after they are disconnected. I've heard the seams will stretch from being allowed to push back further into the seat as well. Not sure if it damages it though. That's what is keeping me from doing it. I want brz seats!

Lol, I have a feeling they will be very hard too find and very expensive due to the amount of interest in them.

Give it time. That's what everyone said about 08+ STI seats and I just had some shipped up here for a friend (from Canada) for $600 total. Excellent condition.

http://www.iwsti.com/forums/gd-inter...-now-pics.html It didn't feel like it made a big difference when I first sat in the car, but when I went out to my favorite set of curves I saw how big a difference this makes. Suddenly there's side bolstering keeping me from sliding all over the place. |

My 2011 WRX clutch pedal is starting to squeak pretty bad every time I press it down. The problem has become progressively worse over time. At about 10,000 miles there was a faint squeak if you listened but now it's pretty loud and annoying. Also, when I press the clutch to the floor there is a slight resistance feeling about a 1/2 inch to the ground. It feels like a strange crunching sensation the last 1/2 inch before the clutch pedal hits the floor.

What the eff are those other settings after you pressed the button and passed the trip reset?!
That clutch sound is atrocious. I'm very surprised a dealership hasn't looked at that for warranty. |

Yeah it does sound pretty bad, I'm going to take my car into the dealership to get it checked out. I've been looking around on youtube and some people have had throw out bearings problems on 3G wrx's. The button I pressed is just the button to reset your odometer. I just pressed it without the key in and it lets you cycle though.

No, I know the odometer button (I called it "trip reset"). I just saw words displayed that weren't mileage, that's all. I've never cycled through with the car turned off. Didn't even know one could do that.
I've read about the throwout bearing and would not be surprised. Let them know you are aware of that issue with these cars. |
