Oh I see what you're saying now - so then you have just one large opening.

You could even get an aftermarket rear diffuser maybe to finish it off, assuming their is one that didn't make it look like its supposed to have quad tips :-)

Exactly and I think a rear diffuser would kind of defeat the purpose lol

It looks like he has already done what I am talking about even though he hasn't...but this just confirms that what I am talking about would look sexxxxxxxxxxxxxy!!!

I think it would look worse on a car that wasn't black, the hole kind of blends in better on his car somehow...idk

I think you are wrong because the piece is black on every car. You are not removing the whole middle just the underneath part. It would still look as if you did nothing just missing the middle part to make a single exit look much more "normal."

If you were gonna run single exit forever and didnt care about maintaining 'stockability', then it probably wouldnt be a bad option.

However, neither of those apply to me so I'm gonna leave my bumper alone and see about filling the other side with a tow hook

Unless I have another lemon. I have no plans on selling this car and running it til I HAVE to trade it on cause its almost dead lol. Plus replacing the bumper probably wouldn't be that hard at that point anyways if i really needed to go "stock" again.

Apparently you're new to Photoshop.
In order to get a remotely photo accurate picture, you'd need either a photo from the same angle of the under works or several hours of work and a decent amount of skill.
The latter isn't worth it

I am not good with photoshop so yes I am new lol but good to know

btw this isn't the best angle because I can't seem to find the pics I took of it but the guy who bought the car has this one...It gives you an idea of what I was talking about with my tib...

this is before the cut

this is after...just removed the middle part and made it flow well with the back bumper.

So you basically want the non-widebody WRX look? I think the sedan has a cutout like that, maybe the hatch, too, I don't know. They're far too hideous for me to remember such minute details.

And because you tainted this thread with a non-WRX pic, here's one:

Or two:

I was wondering if anybody has any reviews of the Tsudo Catless Downpipe? I am able to get a brand new one for a great price, but I was thinking of going Invidia. The Invidia one will cost me $100+. Is the quality really that much of a difference. I mean I can understand with a catted downpipe, but since catless is just a pipe.... What do you all think. Thanks in advance.

They're most likely comparable, just replace your gaskets for good measure and you'll be fine.

I have a tsudo catless dp that I've been running for a year and a half now and I haven't had any problems. Best/cheapest purchase that I've gotten for my car and have not regretted it once. Stage 2 = no regrets

Ive always kind of liked them, seem like nice enough cars. I wasn't gonna have fwd again, so I know I wouldn't buy one just for that reason. And the VW scene seems to be only about bags and hellahellahella
I briefly looked into an R32 when I was car shopping, but the price on a used one killed it for me.

From a VeeDub? If you're looking for more refinement while still keeping a fun car, look at a Caddy CTS or a BMW 3 series or something like that
