Default struts/camber-caster plates

I got rear-ended, with the most damage on the back right corner, denting the muffler/tailpipe and naturally cracking the bumper. Now a few months later i got some conti DWS tires put on the car and an alignment only to find out now that the strut on the right rear wheel is bent. anyone have any recommendations for struts?

Its interesting how you go from one forum to the next and each forum is so sure that their car is the better one. GTI owners are very down on WRX's apparently. Its almost like religious fanatics the way everyone is so sure of themselves..lol

they are fairly firm..maybe you should get something with a DSG..wonder where you might be able to find a company that offers those..lol
Yeah those quality ratings from multiple sources all showing VW's low reliability and quality are bogus.

brb buying an audi because some bros think subaru "sucks"
brb repairs to infinity and beyond

lol the reliability ratings for 09+ WRX's and STI's are horrible also though, look it up

either way im over it, i can't give up AWD and the golf R is too much money. I'll just buy a Q5 when its family time

so I went to subaru and asked if they would warranty my rear wiper. It took like 20 mins of paperwork and searching because the guy wasn't sure if rear wipers were covered but eventually it got done..lol

Too bad the rear wiper just stinks, I got all my wipers replaced at the dealership and the rear wiper didn't seem to look any better. It's possible that they forgot to do the rear one... Celery does the rear clean better now? Mine just smears.

Eventually I'll pick up a trico from autozone since I work there, when I do I'll try to remember to post something in here about how it is

Hell, looks like I can hold onto those RainX flexblades I got for $12 (BOGO+$10 MIR) for quite a while

haha part of me wants to do all the work for a DCCD swap just for the little knob. But at that point I may as well just trade mine in for an sti, itd be cheaper

How did they not fit? Wipers are pretty universal, theres only like 3 different ways any of them attach except for a select few euro cases

pop yours off and look at it, its abnormal. It just hooks to a bar. I'm pretty sure they just gave me a new insert for it, the tech had to put it on because warranty race car

as for the STI, I want it and I don't. I love all the upgrades but I hate that its the same ****ty car with tin can door slam. I don't even think the seats feel much, if any, better. They just have that nice suede insert to hold you in place or w/e. According to truecar.com you should be able to get ~$2000 off an sti right now so probably not the worst time to upgrade. I think I'd rather wait to see what the 2014 is gonna be like though. I think this was the first time I've actually sat in a 3g STI the old ones were more impressive to get into because the seats were blue I guess..lol.

Your wipers should have come with a couple adapters that would fit that, but I dunno I haven't pulled mine off yet

I've heard that for some reason our rear wiper is proprietary.
I just wish ANY R&D had gone into the hatch spoiler, like just a little slit along the base and we probably wouldn't even need wipers.
Also the interval speed of the wiper... I have to manually click it on and then off every minute or so when it's raining because it's too fast and not adjustable.

I do know that generally rear wiper connections are different than front so if you just bought a proper length front wiper it won't work, but the tricos are specifically made as rear wipers with those specific connections. So that could be it

Almost all fronts are just the J hooks anymore though

u silly guys, i barely use my rear wiper, maybe once in a while if its fog on the outside, ill do one swipe, but even when its raining, water doesnt really stick back there.

subaru does warranty replace all wipers at least once while youre within 3yr/36k, but i didnt bother and just got some piaa si-techs (24"/16") for the fronts, and im still on the original rear.

a quick search yielded this for the rear:

http://www.amazon.com/Silblade-RB114-B-Black-Silicone-Fitment/dp/B00464FANI/ref=au_pf_ss_2?ie=UTF8&Make=Subaru|13&Model=Impreza|62&Year=2011|2011&carId=003&n=15684181&s=automotive

fitment has not been confirmed but it does say it fits. good luck.
