A lot of the team has been affected by BC.
During the campaign in 2010, I lost an aunt.

There are fundraisers for every disease.
I actually lost my mother to lung cancer and walked the ACS Relay for Life for a good amount of years. I wanted to find a way to combine my philanthropic interests with my Subaru interests (See the team bio's on our website for more info about me/SFB).

If you are interested in fundraising for a cause that touches closer to home to you, I support you 110%.

I know lots of people who fundraise for lots of different causes. I know there is something for everyone! It's about getting involved. Small efforts are what make a difference in aiding the bigger picture.

There are some really great fundraisers out there for men's causes. I believe mo'vember is one of them (pardon me if I'm wrong). And while it may be nicer to think about a breast exam - men's health and education is nothing to forget!!

Default SFB Instagram Contest!

There were more items added during the week. Lanyards/bracelets are back and we have pink hellas and (drum roll please!) SFB CF Plate Deletes!

Also, incase you didn't see on the website or FB, we are having an Instagram contest! You can check out the rules on our website here.

Products old and new are welcome in the contest. We want to see your SFB love!

Big thanks to David Higgins, 2011 Rally America National Champion, for judging!

I actually love the plate delete.. Now damn you Canada, specifically the MTO in Ontario for requiring front plates!

I have had my SFB 22" vinyl on the back window for 2 years now, now ordering the plate delete as well to replace my STI one. I have an aunt who has BC so I back this 100%. Keep up the hard work ladies.

I just ordered the NASIOC vinyl for the Sloth. My MIL and buddy's mom both beat the ta ta terror.

I hope my wife and daughter never have to go through it.

Any response from the SFB people about this? I know for a fact it doesn't cost more than the cost of an envelope and a $1 stamp to mail to Canada from the US, since I mail to the US every day at work.

Something about shipping orders being lost en route up north. So the vendor producing the vinyl deals exclusively with the higher shipping cost to ensure those packages make their destination. Another option is to have a group buy or have someone in the states buy then ship to you.

It's not a futile battle. I have suggested a Canadian group buy for the immediate fix. It would be very easy to set up if a friend from the north would like to stand up and take charge on it.

Thank you for the link aod12!

We have had issues with mail getting lost in Canada and Australia. It's tough to just put a stamp on an envelope and send it. No matter how many times we write that USPS 1st class shipping cannot be guaranteed people get upset if they don't get their vinyl and we won't to offer the best guarantee that we can that people will receive their product. We highly recommend higher shipping even in the US for this reason. Then there is a tracking number that USPS is responsible for.

I'd love to join the Instagram contest but with items not shipping out later I'm hoping it will be extended through November.

Did anyone who ordered NASIOC pink vinyls in early October receive them yet from the 1st shipment?

Some points to cover all the posts I've deleted:

1) The girls have volunteered their time and talent and in many cases have paid money to do this great work.

2) If you live in a country where they have had issues and you know of a way to make it easier and want to drive to Massachusetts and physically volunteer to do whatever is necessary, using your own money, be my guest. Otherwise, I personally don't want to hear it. They're not selling Sparco stickers. I'm sure that if you set up a charitable organization in your home country, did your own design, contracted your own merchandise vendor, took your own orders, shipped the orders and sent donations on each thing sold down to SFB, they would accept your donations. Getting copies just so you can pretend to support the cause isn't the way to go.

3) If you have a better charity that needs money, donate money to them. Suggesting that people should donate to your own pet charity is bad form. I've made donations to many organizations over the years and would never think to suggest that one of them is better than any other. Speak with your own donations, not with detractions from other causes.

Alright, so somebody has to step up in this situation...
As a Canadian I was less than thrilled with the shipping cost for my S4B order this year, so I'll gladly volunteer my time as well as my fiancé's to help with the Canadian orders.

Our close friends Tuned200 and Pam_Cakes brought this discussion to our attention earlier.
