For the 09' 4eat's, you are supported by AP (check out RalliTek). The whole reason I contacted Mikey to begin w (OP here) is because the AP skips the 08' 4eats, and goes straight to 09's. So in reality if not for Mikey and Ron, the 08 4eat would be assed out completely.
Hey Mikey-
Sorry I got swamped this weekend, tonite I will do the log, and send it to u to check out, thanks!

It could be identified as ignition total timing or just ignition timing.

EDIT:

Thanks for those of you who are and will participate. As long as payment is made by friday, you can be tuned at any time. Payment date is the only criteria to get in on this group buy.

PM me or the phatbotti account if this doesnt accommodate your needs.

I dont see on their website where it says that. All I see is "Note: First release is for manual transmission only. Automatic transmission will be available soon!"

EDIT
Never mind I just read their press release about discontinuing development of all N/A access ports

hence why I returned my AP, and am now going opensource. to me, $600 wasnt a terrible price for a product that would continue to be innovated, and features added. But when they said they werent developing it anymore - whats the point? Tactrix it is!

As far as logging goes - are logging 3rd gear pulls? cruising? idling? All of the above? How much data do you want?
And lastly, are we emailing our logs to you (same email as paypal?) now or waiting till after the GB is over?

Ok, there were like 57 questions there, sorry.

"The following work was done on a 1999 Impreza Outback Sport with a bone stock transmission. This should work on the later (02+) vehicles with VTD/VDC, but it's not really necessary because from what I've seen and read, the VTD is a huge leap forward, and controls torque very nicely. I obviously haven't tried it myself, so feel free to be a trailblazer."

does this mean that a in a 2008 2.5i its not necesary to do that? ive read somewhere that the power distibution its 60/40 in this new cars.(just asuming not shure)
I have an 05 RS, dunno about the newer years, but the RS does not come with VTD. That's specifically a WRX thing.

unless you have a larger diameter maf housing, idle should be fine. You have to give 5-15 minutes of drive time after resettting the ecu for idle and cruise to be nice.

Each map i send i would like a 1-2 minute long log of normal driving, on and off throttle.

I also would like a second gear pull.

Send me the logs of crusie + second gear pull. After that, Ill give you the ok for the third gear pull + log.

Send me the third gear pull and Ill get you the next map ASAP.

This usually take 2-4 revisions.

[email protected]

this is where I would like the logs sent.

THanks!

Mikey

That's an interesting statement considering the investment of RalliTek in the NA AP technology. It would be good for RT to clarify what's going to happen with their product.

How are you tuning without looking at air-fuel ratios?

Just curious, as I am interested in a tune.

Thanks!
