How do you think we're going to fare against the hawks? Kane's been playing like a mad man on a mission but it doesn't seem like they like playing teams who body them around.

Bad luck to force it into OT.
Great game, sucks we lost. Horton didn't look that good to me tonight. Made some key mistakes that led to what happened, IMHO. |

I won't say it was JUST bad luck, but there was plenty of it to make a strong argument. Krug had the awful turnover (to be expected from him though with how phenomenal he's been playing being aggressive) and the goal off of our defender's skate. I couldn't stay up to watch the 3rd OT cause of work 4 hours after it, but someone want to break down what the hell happened? I called out that the Bruins were getting a little lazy on the defensive side and that Blackhawks had the momentum, but didn't think they would win. It makes it all the worse that all of one side of my relatives live in Chicago and absolutely hate the Bruins haha. |

These are very evenly matched teams, and the Bruins aren't a team that will get deflated after a loss. It's going to be a fun series to watch, hopefully we'll have better luck in game 2. |

I meant that from what I saw, the hawks went on long streaks of offensive pressure and I think for the majority of the game after the first period, they were more aggressive with the puck. Having a few lucky bounces is all a part of the game. Either way, I look forward to Saturday and the rest of the series! Let's go Bruins!! |

Anyone else notice all of the 'Hawks' fan talk about how the Bruins are getting lucky?
I have relatives in Chicago, and after reading a lot of the Yahoo comments, it seems that they've just up and decided the Bruins have been getting lucky. I'm not sure how they could consider it luck since the Hawks had a double deflection goal and a goal off of a defender's skate go in. Talk about luck... I hope we bring it to them again tonight so silence all of the BS I hear going around. I'm also curious what the ratings are. These are one hell of a set of games going on! |

Yes, very. I stated that I thought the Bruins were outplayed in long stretches but no one should be talking about lucky with a double deflection AND a shot that was way off net, but happened to find our defender's skate.
Then again, they will say Toews scored last game but the ref called it off on a rule that's similar to the 'tuck' rule. Just heard about them talking about it on the Sports Hub |

Yeah, SportsHub>WEEI.
I understand getting upset when you're on the losing side of luck in any sport and puck luck here with Hockey. BUT, luck is a big part of every sport in just about every game. We lucked out to win Sat they lucked out to win game 1. WE'RE EVEN!!! LET'S GO B'S!!!!! |

^But do you notice, USUALLY the harder/better playing team is the one who wins despite luck? That's why I don't usually consider it luck. Like you said, it's merely a part of the game. Game 1, Blackhawks took more shots = more opportunities. Game 2, I thought the B's (after crappy 1st period) took the game over, especially in OT.
Going out to watch the B's tonight, LETS GO BRUINS!!! |

I went to a bar for game 2 (first time not watching from home this season) and missed a lot due to no sound and alot of people in the way.
I'm watching from home tonight! C'mon Jagr. Stop hitting the post and put it in net!!! |

I'd prefer the Refs to stop sucking and actually call a penalty. I missed the sweep of the Pens being away for training but im sure they got shafted on calls in that series too.
