Unhappy Newcelica.org: mostly kids who know zip about cars

Has anyone ever posted there? Is anyone a regular member?

I don't mean to offend anyone but so many of the posters there seem to be kids barely old enough to drive who really know zip about cars. I can't believe the things I see there. Just go and count the number of posts on powershifting and really idiotic questions and you'll see what I mean.

Anyone know a celica site with members that KNOW their stuff? Or does anyone know anyone at newcelica.org who isn't a snot-nosed wet-behind-the-ears kid?

Posters here seem to me to be of slightly older mean age and I see a LARGE reduction in the number of idiot-posts here...

it's know. not no.

...normally it's just ball-busting, but it made it actually real difficult to understand what you were trying to say in this case.

Well... duh...

My fault. That's what I get for doing 5 things at once!

I tend to type in shorthand while I'm being an idiot and trying to do too much at once...

Oh, I'm also going back and forth between 3 languages too, so have some sympathy. Thanks!

I haven't even posted there. I've just been checking out the site for the last few weeks. I guess you could say I was "casing it out".

Oh jeez, this guy's around my area. I wonder who he spanked...

"Finally raced one (WRX.....) yesterday evening. He was apparently pretty modded. Big freaking exhaust, probably custom from what I saw. It had to have been at least 3"-3.5" straightpiped.

He had that infamous "Injen.com" license plate too. Oh well. I gave it my best and took him off the line. Weird?

He didn't give me much of a challenge, he kept up all the way throughout 3rd, after that I was gone. At the next light, he rolled down his window and asked me what I had. "I'm stock"... Which I am, with exception that I removed my muffler.

Then he said "Lets go again"... Sure why not buddy. So we go again and I took him off the line... again. He had me by at least 1-2 car lengths before I even made it to lift on 3rd.

At the next intersection he wants to go one more time, but "Nahhhh"... I'll keep it at a tie.

So maybe I got lucky, but I still beat a WRX with my plagued '02 w/no major mods"

--later he mentions that the WRX was carrying two passengers.

It sounds like a letter in Penthouse. "Yeah, I was delivering a pizza to this babe's house and she just invited me in."
