New Radio in my Leggy
Finally, partially upgraded my system in my legacy, nothing too expensive however but it sounds good to me.
Pioneer DEH-5500MP Infinity Reference 6000 components (front) Inifinity Reference 6002i (rear) Still looking for amp (probably mtx thunder series) and subs and also considering XM radio. The center din pocket I purchased from Subaruparts.com http://www.subaruparts.com/cart/?id=324&pn=66120AE050

Looks very NICE !
We've used pioneer premium decks in several of our vehicles with infinitty kappa speakers .... and been very pleased with them ... I suspect you have a very clean sounding system with very nice presence ... but ... not my gt ... not yet at least ... I would like to upgrade speakers and maybe the stock amp ... Charllie |

Hah,
I just installed a Pioneer 5200 into my Legacy, as well as a MTX Thunder amp and an Infinity 1230W Sub this last weekend. Sounds better then anything I've had before (JVC headunit on 4" Kenwood speakers for example). Is it worth it to upgrade the stock door speakers? they sound pretty good to me. |

nKoan,
I would say yes .... to help you decide you could take your favorite cd or two and stop by a good car audio shop and listen, compare and then decide .. my two cents Ciper: sharp eyes ... Charlie |
