We haven't really thought of bringing it out as a product, but it may be a good idea. It's a from subframe/chassis brace that is more race spec in that is is as small and light as possible while connecting the most important and functional points.

There will be a photo shoot in Dsport soon with some AMAZING pics. I can't post them until they appear in the magazine, but they are of the style of that dark front end shot up above.

If it replaces the whole stock subframe and links all the important points together i'd be on it in a heart beat.

What do you reach for on your dash? Different map for gears 5/6?? Boost levels or different map?

It's the boost controller. There's also a knob there for the "boost-a-spark" but once we had that dialed in we haven't needed to mess with it.

You might think that he fiddles with the boost control quite a bit. You're right he does. Usually after a few sessions he settles down to where he's happy with it on that track for that day.

Congrats, TiC. Enjoyed watching you guys at Summit Point during OLOA in 2011.

With the new aero setup, what's the pipe sticking out of the driver side "headlight"?

I'd love to buy one. I've been looking for a while and haven't seen anything yet to pull the trigger. I was looking to ditch bumper beam as well, Are you guys going to produce the bumper beam on the race car as well?

We have had many people ask us over the last year, but are just not sure if we can make it happen due to the custom nature of the car. What you don't see is the amount of customer hardware used for adjustment and mounting. We have threaded adjusters throughout the car to be able to adjust the specific pitch/angle of individual sections of the splitter, flat bottom and diffuser in order to get the perfect balance on track.

And vehicle maintenance; in the picture above you can see just how low the sides are to the ground. At static ride height there is just about 2" of clearance and given that the entire bottom of the car is covered there is no way to jack up the car other than the weld in jack points we have which can be seen as the small hole in the side skirt.

What we have considered and spoken to several people about is having cars brought to us for the fabrication and installation of the aero components.

Will this car even be in OLOA 2012? You guys were really close to Topspeed last year until issues arose.

This car will not see the street again. It was too extreme for the OLOA this past year. Had the car been more reliable I know we would have been in the running. Their car was stupid fast though and Leh is a great driver.

That being said, we have always joked that we have enough spare and left over parts from the race car to build another car. So, with the help of our driver, Tony W, (he did all the work we just provided some parts) we built a 98 RS with the exact drivetrain that was in the car in late 2009. It essentially the same car we took on the 09 OLOA only 500# lighter and with two years more knowledge into how to build the car even better. We have kicked around the idea of OLOA in it. Pics to come soon as he just started it up tonight. We are corner weighting and aligning on Saturday.
