I am happy with my car except that it squeaks and rattles somewhere from the dash and/or outside. It's going to the dealer on Friday.

How many miles? I mean when you picked it up, you probably added 500 on the way home, eh?

Ah, I remember when I wrote just about the same post a little over a month ago. First things first...get an intake, I recommend Ganz. While you're waiting for that to come in the mail, get to work on getting those stickers of the wing, and if you're feeling adventurous, SUBARU off the trunk. Trust me, it looks a lot better. I know there are some pics floating around here of the cars without the stickers and badging.

Thanks everyone for the good words. I am absolutely amazed by the number of reply's and e-mails I received. The car had 53 miles on it when I picked it up, 25 of which I put on it when I test drove it. It gets a lot of looks on the road, most people don't know what it is! This is gonna be fun.

Talking

Hey y'all,

This is fun. I've had my 2K1 Impreza 2.5RS for 5 days now and am trying to break it in as fast as possible! I'm at 600 joyous miles (I know, I know, but I was in church ALL WEEKEND!). I traded my Integra for this and I am happier about this car in every way...well except for the lack of a power antenna. ;-)

What do y'all think of the short throw shifter that Subaru offers? Any better choices?

Thanks.

Remember to pay attention to your driving the first 1000 miles for engine break-in.
Info about break-in is in your owner's manual.
