Blouch TD04 19T Upgrade
I am having hell trying to search for information regarding the upgrade. My current stock one is on its last legs.
Has anyone had experience with this upgrade? Any information would be great.

you can look around on the internet, basicly it will flow around 450cfms, but with the TD04 wheel its really going to restrict top end, and probably feel like a stock sti where it dies off around 5500, but you can get the stock housting ported out and put a TD04HL wheel and have alot better response and top end

Just get a VF series.
VF43s can be had for ~ $450 nowadays. VF34 is ball bearing. Nice. Or, stick to a Mitsu, and get a 16g. If you are heart set on a rebuilt td04, try Deadbolt, FP, or Blouch. http://blouchturbo.com/turbos/WRX_TD...essor_Upgrade/ SOTC |

well what i stumbled on to is a TD04HL-16g, so basicly i have 16g midrange and most top end, and all that with spool up before 2600, so a lil slower that stock but throw you back in seat feeling after 10psi, and what i found out is that its pushing more G/sec at 14psi that the stock at 20.5

The VF43 is actually a really nice bang for the buck upgrade of the TD04. Throw a tune and STI UP on it and you will have a fun reliable car without breaking the bank.

Is the STI up pipe larger diameter than the factory wrx up pipe? That is the only logical difference i could see as all 2.5 cars have NO cat in the UP.
