I take it you have asked on newcelica.org?

The site is run by a moron, but they do drive Celicas there.

I signed up on newcelica and another celica forum before I posted up here. Thanks for the heads up though. I have been searching around quite a bit, I even hit about 6 yards today up near gettysburg, and I saw about 7 GT's, but none had any trans left.

Carparts hasn't netted much. This one yard in Fredricksburg wants $1500 for a trans and it "needs welded". WTF?

I located one for $500 on newcelica, but I would have to ship it.

Default trans

I was wondering that myself, but I haven't seen any interchange on any part websites. I need to do some searching on the celica forum.

Whats wrong with the 5spd you have in it right now? If its a grind into 5th gear my brother has the same problem, he has to blip the throttle when going into 5th to dodge the grind.
