He's been awful for 20 years. At least him and Cowboy Joe were separated.

Thank God the Angels managed a win last night.
So what's worse, Halos losing to the Astros or the Doyers losing to the Marlins? Can't decide! |

And how about the Cardinals rookie with a near-perfect game! First batter singles, the rest are out. |

Broken bat single at that. I like Shelby Miller. Trevor Rosenthal and Joe Kelly too. The Cardinals have a good thing going with young pitchers it seems.
I'm going to miss Motte though. edit: speaking of pitchers, Carpenter back a reliever? notsureifserious.jpg |

The Astros, while bad, aren't gonna live up to the ultimate suck expectation, fortunately for that there are the Marlins. |

Bedard was pitching a good game then got pulled at 90 pitches up 3-1. The Astros put in Humber and he proceeds to give up 6 runs. Wow

And Hanrahan is done for the season.
Side note, Opening day, Hanrahan is set to come in in the ninth, some of the locals behind us are talking about his entrance song which is some harley/heavy metal number, he starts his jog in and they start to play "Shipping up to Boston" the place went nuts, then they stopped it after 3 seconds and played "his" song and I swear everyone around had this face . |

And Houston cut Humber. That's gotta be depressing, being released by the Astros. Perhaps the Marlins are more his style.

For all of those that were inquiring about Kauffman Stadium:
I actually liked the stadium. Loved the parking set up. Here in St. Louis there are no big lots to tailgate/party in. It's a bunch of garages and smaller lots. Wish we had the space Kauffman does. Everything seems really clean and there's a pretty good view of the field from everywhere we walked/sat. There's a bunch of "stuff" to do - Royals Hall of Fame, team store, ladies and kids team store, Royals Authentic store, a field kids can play on, a carousel, pitching/batting things for the kids, sprinklers for the kids, a sports bar (why in the hell do you pay for tickets only to sit at a table and watch the game on a flat screen?), etc. Seriously, you can spend the entire game there and not even watch the game. In comparison to Busch it just seems like they are trying to distract you from the team as opposed to making you watch the game. But, it's still worth the visit. The scoreboard in center is pretty cool and the fountains are unique. Beer is ridiculously expensive (16oz Boulevard for $9.75? Really?). Cheap tickets, only $10 for parking - definitely go for it if you're in town. |

I don't feel so bad buying a Sam Summer for $8.75 at TD Garden then.

There's no amount of Bud Light that could make me part with $20.

Kauffman is one of my favorite stadiums, can see good teams, tickets are cheap, standing room only in the center field fountain areas.
downside is that the beer is expensive, but then again I paid 11 bucks a beer at yankee stadium, and 4 dollars a beer at fenway...so it's kind of random at times. best thing about kauffman is that there is a ****load of really good beer bars all over town(westside local for one) that have amaizng beer selections that are nicely priced and within a 10 dollar cab ride of the stadium(and therefor no 10 dollar parking, it balances out). |

Just had my mind blown this morning (and now I feel like I'm an idiot for not knowing this)
The Brewers logo A simple glove catching a ball ... but also cleverly incorporates a M and a B into the design. Am I the only one that didn't know this? |
