Hells yeah... I do not like the CVT idea though. I've never been a fan of it... seems too much like an airplane when you drive it (constant RPM).

Now, a turbo-deisel Forester? Hell yeah. Time to convince the woman that the Forester is, in fact, a good looking car (she hates "boxes").

I wanted an outback for the family but wife actually preferred the Forester - I've had a great time in that out near the fourpeaks in the snow - amazing offroad...

A friend of friend back home just bought 340bhp forester sti - nice!

A diesel one would rock - should be nice and smooth as it's a boxer too...

Reports say that after the initial launch of the Liberty diesel, Subaru will drop the efficient diesel engine into the Forester and Impreza. The Americans are expecting a Turbo-Diesel WRX by 2009. Another sign that Subaru is marketing the new Impreza WRX at an all new audience.

Anyone catch that the STI is 230bhp in that second link? That has to be wrong or the car isnt going to sell like the old ones did. Hell, the ugly arse Saturn Sky is 260bhp.....
