Ok so my old computer stopped working. Got a new HP trying to download the rom&ecuflash stuff ( using all the newest stuff ) and it just won't work keeps saying deff's not configured. And I have gone in and selected the deff's but still don't work.. Please help this is driving me nuts... Also the comp is windows 8 but have it setup as a desktop with the 7 format.. Also I have tried using all the dl's from this site to set it up that's not working ether

You remove the old ones from the "programs file" in the C: drive and drop the new ones in the same place.
"Each definition folder is compressed into a zip archive. To, install: 1. Download the file of the units you wish to use (metric or standard) from the bottom of this post. 2. Delete the Subaru folder and any other Subaru definitions (backing up if necessary) in the Metadata directory specified in File->Options from within Ecuflash (ex. C:\Program Files\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\). 3. Unzip the new Subaru definition folder into the same directory." Did you follow these directions exactly? |

I have done that. I have even uninstalled all of it ecu flash rom and all the deff's then installed and pulled the files.. They just won't open it says car deff's not configured.. But it works on some cars but 05 lgt I can pull the rom but can't force pass readiness.. It will let me change things other then the pass. It says in the box ( no match)

What software are you talking about here? The errors you're listing don't sound like EcuFlash error messages. If this is an error you're seeing in EcuFlash, can you copy everything from top to bottom in the EcuFlash 'Task Info' window and paste that in to your next post?

Not 100% sure.. I had my buddy Jay Perry over at Perry tuned take a look at it I had an old down load with new deffs. Or something to that affect. He got it all set for me. It was something I was doing.. With the files I guess but then again that's why I don't tune.. Lol just use the program for when I do down pipes and up pipes.. I'll leave the rest to computer savvy people.. Thanks everyone for your help..
