I wouldn't be too concerned about the MAP sensor, if it is the same as the turbo cars, it is only used if the MAF fails. As you can see in the log, the MAP sensor maxes out when you hit 2700 rpm, but the mass airflow continues to rise. The ecu is calculating the mass flow rate, and in turn load, from the MAF. As long as your MAF is not pegged, you are ok. Since you switched to a blow through MAF, you will need to re-scale it. This is why your actual AFR doesn't match your target. Your best bet is to find a tutorial on how to scale a MAF.

Make sure you log engine load in g/rev, not relative, to verify it still increases after the MAP pegs.

The maf can't measure pressure.

It doesn't have to. Manifold pressure is only used when the ecu goes into limp mode from a MAF sensor malfunction.

Assuming the MAF is working properly:

Load (g/rev) = MAF (g/s) x 60 / RPM

Open loop fueling is based on Load and RPM, no manifold pressure required.
It has a manual boost controller, so no pressure required there either.

I would guess it will eventually throw a pressure sensor circuit high code, so you will probably have to disable that.

I'm more concerned with the boost tuning. Hard to do on a mechanical gauge.

There won't be much boost tuning via the ecu if he is using the 2.5i ECU, which i think he is.

Yep, I am using the 2.5i ecu... I just got back from vacation, and they sent me out of town for work, so I havent made much progress on this yet

hopefully this works out, so their is no need to get a new map sensor to go over 5psi on 2.5i ecu?
