I'm currently looking for some shocks for my 2010 2.5i. What years wrx shocks will fit? I'm thinking about changing my shocks and swapping my springs to sti pinks.
Or what would be the best set up for my car? I'm currently on lowering springs but don't know what kind.

2008-2014 will fit but 09+ are recommended. Check out Koni inserts or KYB's as well!

What have you read or know about sti pinks? Have you considered anything else?

Oh and the only way to tell you the best setup for your car would be for you to try numerous setups and have the deciding factor on your own.

A lot of us have lowered/modified suspension and we all have our own say on what we prefer.

i havent heard alot about sti pinks. I want good handling, I want something that looks good and that is quality. the vehicle is not going on the track. its just everyday driving and roads where i live are a little crappy and rough.

09+ WRX struts, Koni inserts, and RCE or Swift springs sound like a match for you!

+1, I'm not sure on 08+ but on previous generations STI pinks were fairly popular for what you want.

One last question as well. do the imprezas have struts in rear and front or do they have shocks as well?

Hi! Speaking of suspension setups... Has anyone had experience on the difference between 09-10 vs 11+ wrx suspension?

I have a 2010 impreza and lately I've notice when I start the car on a cold start the clutch has a winding noise and it started on cold starts when the weather got cold and also my steering wheel squaks every morning on cold start. And sometimes when turning it without moving the vehicle.
And one last thing that's minor sometimes my handbrake light comes on randomly and stays on then randomly turns off.
Anybody would know what the reason for this would be? For any of these 3?

Brake light maybe cause your brake fluids low... Check your belts for cracks and wear for steering whine and your clutch is the throw out bearing

So is the bearing going bad? And I recently got my dealer to change my belts. I wonder why it's doing it. I'll check the brake fluid in the morning. Thank you.
