Bad cat...Options?
I thing my cat is going out because i have a sulfur smell coming from my exhaust. How much will it cost to replace it and are there any mod/after market options where the cat is concerned? I would like to stay street legal.

Sometimes emission controls are warrantied longer than the rest of the vehicle. In that case, a new cat would be covered. If not, you can buy a replacement cat for ~100 to 200.

I once replaced a broken cat with a cheapie from a muffler shop. I lost performance and swore I'd never go the cheapie route again. |
