Acording to their website, you'd have to cut them out yourself (no pre-made ones). Though I thought I saw somewhere a while ago that somebody had some pre-cut ones...

I got mine done at a tint place, they did a pretty nice job. I would post pics, but mine is a hatch and I would get booed off stage!

I originally bought the full tail light overlays (for cheap), but put one on and decided it looked really stupid (IMO, don't anyone get all upset!). So I just took a very sharp knife and cut around the clear part and peeled the rest off.

Just buy a piece of laminx slightly bigger than the size....put it on, and trim with a sharp x-acto knife.

Look at what I just got in the mail! Car is getting some work done due to an accident so this will be painted with it. Will post pictures next week or so. I'm not sure it's going to look good yet since I have not found anyone with an 08-10 with it. So I would recommend anyone here who was thinking of getting one to wait for my pictures.

Me and Don just made the hit last night...But we are keeping on the down low...you never know when a Paul Walker is going to come around.

You know what's funny...2 seconds ago I was on 3gwrx (I'm never really on) and saw ur posts about how you don't like the new wing.

Not gonna lie...I'm taking the risk and see how it comes out. If I don't like. It's going for sale.

Not Don lol

Hope you like the spoiler because once it's on there, you'll have totally different hole locations on the trunk. (unless you do custom body work to install) I think WRX spoiler has like 12.. and STI spoiler has like 14-15

I never said i didnt like it....I just dont think it will will look good on the 08-10.
the 11, the rest of the car looks aggressive enough to justify that wing.
its the same with the 02-07 wrx's....if you take away all wings, the car looks pretty much the same fender flares and all, save for the headlights. the 08-10 doesnt have that similarity with the 11s.
but i'm not going to down it anymore....only thing to do is to wait and see how it comes out.
hell, it may look ok and may change my mind.

It does not look bad, but my question is what is the performance gains versus added weight and wind drag?

A little bit off topic but... I just sent a picture of my 2010 WRX to my buddie and he replied with this...

Quote:
And yet my 8 year old, cheap ass (1/2 price of '06 WRX) car will whip the sh$t out of your WRX, while being more practical, economical and more comfortable. It will handle just as good, too.

I regularly laugh at VE SS / G6Es who try to go me at lights, beating them with little effort. My car eats V8s and sh#ts Skylines, especially through corners where it hangs on almost as good as my Evo did.

And it's FWD.

side on the widebody WRX and 08/10 sedans look the same. so the side on shot looks fine IMO

it's once the car starts to angle that you start to notice the widebody angles and lines. i think this stops the Sti wing from looking great on an 08/10 sedan

either way it doesnt look bad. better than i was expecting.

and if it's attention that you are after (noted from the black/white wheels and carbon hood) then it's attention you will certainly be getting especially now with that massive wing.

As I said...I was worried I wasn't going to like it...but honestly though...I think it looks better than in the 2011's...lol...In person looks much better. I will have better pictures once everything is done. But if anyone here is looking to doing the same. GET A WINGLESS TRUNK FIRST. There is about 10 holes that will be exposed from removing the thin spoiler that came in previous models. I have someone that has a 2.5i that will prob trade it with me. I will know by this weekend.

Yes! I wanted an 11' wing for my wrx and after seeing yours I think it looks awesome. How much was the wing if you dont mind me asking. I almost want to say it looks better on an 08-10 because there arent those wierd flares on the rear bumper.
