Smile My 2010 WRX Limited Hatch

New to the forum. Just wanted to say hello! I just bought a 2010 WRX Limited Hatch yesterday and man it is AWESOME!! Had to drive down to Maryland to get it (I am from Long Island NY) but it was totally worth the drive and it is great to get some seat time to learn the cars ins and outs. Anyway I will shut up. Here are pictures of her (sorry for crappy cell pictures lol).

At the dealership in MD:

Looks like my limited. Awesome choice. Now fix the tail lights on the thing, unless you like the clears.

I have pics http://picasaweb.google.com/hieu1004/WRX# if you need ideas.

I love the clears on the Spark Silver that I got on Saturday, but on the black and whites I think the reds look a little bit better.

Again Semaj07, congrats on the new beauty!!!

Thanks for the welcoming guys! I am most definitely going to take care of the tails. Tint and tails are on the list of things to be done first. Well, that's a lie lol. I ordered a different shift knob because I can't stand the stock one I am tossing up between the red tails or just having them tinted as well (have seen some others with just smoked lenses and I like the way it looks). But the red makes it look more stock. Ughhh now I have choices lol.

Ha, Heritage, I was just there with my 2010 getting its first oil change yesterday, around 3:45 PM.

I bought mine there about 2 months ago, great guys and great price.

On the topic of tails, I think I'm going to go all red, as I'm not sure I like the look of the "racoon eye" http://www.iagperformance.com/shoppi...prod=150313RED

Yeah they were really great to me and it was $2600 off MSRP!!. Honestly the best shopping experience I have had for a car. I bought the car over the phone from another state and everything was done and waiting for me when I got there to get the car They even went out of their way to get my registration done for me...my NY registration! They didn't need to do that and they did. I recommend them to anyone in that area!!

Well to be quite honest I am not sure how I feel about them lol. I feel that with the 17" wheels they are just a little too undersized for the body kit. I saw the 11's at the NY auto show and was MEH about them. More importantly (and to make a long story short) I had ordered a 2010 in January and it never came in. So basically I have waited 4 months to get the REX. I wasn't about going and waiting another bunch of months for just a widebody kit and quad exhaust (even though i LOVE the quad exhaust lol). I needed a car NOW. So I went and found one

Congrats on your new purchase. You are going to absolutely love it. I got my '10 SWP sedan April 2nd and I still haven't slept a full 8 hours. I'm either driving the car or surfing this site and a 100 others buying stuff!!!!

Hope you had an alright experience at Heritage. They gave me a BS marked up price, while Herb Gordon gave me a reasonable price that was much lower, plus the salesman I dealt with was professional and kind.

Anyway, try to vary between highway driving and city driving and vary your rpm's for the break-in. You're still in the break-in period so that means absolutely NO highway pulls, going above 4500 rpm, and no changing oil until about 4000 miles. Others are paranoid about their oil so they change it within like 2500 miles, but your engine will still be in the final break-in period at like 8,000 miles.

They were really nice to me, but hey dealerships are dealerships. Thank you for the advice!! I do about 75% highway but I do run around town for the trip to the stores and lunch with the girlfriend and such. I don't beat on my cars so keeping it under 4500 isn't too hard for me. I am past that point in my life lol. I bought the wrx for its ability to get me to work everyday (I work for the news so I HAVE to get to work no matter what!) with some extra pep under the hood. Coming back from MD my first fill up was 26mpg. Not too bad for a non broken in engine doing 75 the whole way.
