Dear Tractor Trailer on I-90 West,

If you're on a three lane highway and currently in the middle lane, albeit in a tunnel, it isn't a very good time to change lanes when immediately after the on ramp. I almost **** my pants when I had to slam on my brakes to avoid being crushed between you and the wall and came to a dead stop on a highway. The best part is, I'm sure you had no ****ing clue what happened, because you certainly didn't think to look if anyone was merging prior to switching lanes. There were no cars around you. Why did you do this? Who knows, but thanks for shaking my morning up.

Truly,

Jostled Subaru Owner

I've got three here.

Dear rsx with a fart can and stereotypical fart can driver. Please do not sit behind me in traffic and rev your engine at me just because I have a tinted plate cover and kaizen tuning stickers. All I will do is mouth "you are so cool" through my rear view at you and drive slowly in front of you.

Dear civic with no exhaust,

Please stop driving by kaizen tuning at 9am at full blast while I quietly try to eat my breakfast as I wait for my appointment. You have driven by 12 times now. What parking lot can't you find?

Dear mini cooper in the far lane on route 2

Thank you for waking me up this morning when you decided to try to do a mega land change from the far left to the far right where there was a solid line of traffic, I was going 80 when you almost sandwiched me between you and a forester in the middle lane. Are my hella horns not loud enough for you? You then proceeded to come to a dead stop in the middle of route 2 as you tried to cut off the line of traffic waiting to get on 95. Thanks for almost making me **** my pants.

I despise those cars. I hate how they sound, always have. And no matter how fast you make it id still rather have my mostly stock STi.

Dear Rav4,

Even though I'm clearly in front, you try to get around me to be ahead as this two lane road turns into one...NEWSFLASH...you won't.

Sincerely,
the wagon that must've surprised you.

Dear middle aged man in a people mover doing 45 in a 50 in the fast lane of a two lane road. That's ok, I honestly wasn't in a hurry so I didn't mind waiting behind you for a bit. Then, when you decided to then proceed to do 87 in the fast lane of the THREE LANE HIGHWAY with a 100 speed limit for about 2 minutes, I figured you were just comitted.

However, pulling out into my lane as I perform a safe and legal passing maneuver around you and then not realising that yes, that loud noise for the last 8 seconds WAS a car next to your blasting it's horn at your stupidity, is pretty ****ing stupid.

Thankfully your wife noticed my honking as I'm still not convinced you did on your own accord. As I wasn't in my STi, I probably would have let you hit me to teach you a lesson.

There is not a whit of exaggeration in that story. However if you're referring to the speeds involved, those are in km/h so divide by 1.6 for mph equivalents.

Was on this bend, for reference: http://maps.google.co.nz/maps?hl=en&...,349.2,,0,22.5 Edit: Hah, there's a v8 impreza wagon in the left side of that pic, how appropriate.

Unfortunately, there are lots of people around here who just don't understand the concept of driving. The elderly (among others) do not understand the concept of staying in your original lane when turning from a one lane street into a two lane street at a crossroads or t-junction. Happens all the freaking time.

Additionally, dickheads like to drive down the highway in between small towns (single lane each way) at 90km/h in a 100km/h area, go 105km/h in passing lanes so you can't overtake and then do 80km/h through towns with 50km/h limits.

No suprise we have double the per-capita annual road deaths compared with (for example) Britain.

Deal citizens of whatever town I train through,

Yes, I drive a retired cop car, whatever. If you see me in your rear view, please kindly move out of my lane. If you are kind enough to let me by, please don't beat yourself up when I fly by with straight pipes blaring. On the other hand, I have NY plates and I live in PA (for school), no NY cop has jurisdiction in PA, or straight pipes for that matter so please kindly pass me on the left like a normal person and don't sit in my blind spot, with your headlights reflecting off my side mirror into my face cuz then I'll get mad.people are dumb.

Sincerely,
Black Vic with dual coon spotters just tryin to get to work

PS: spotlights up, on duty; spotlights tucked, not a cop

PSS: I miss my wrx who's long block is still in my trunk ready to be rebuilt!
