It wouldn't be all that exciting of a video...not sure your reasons for wanting to see it, but it is a pretty simple thing.
The only way I could imagine to show it would be doing a video of the boost guage. If you have a boost guage, and your boost is set to peak at 15psi, but it exceeds that peak and continues on up to lets say 19psi for example before triming back...volia, boost creep The wastegate can't keep up with the boost pressure, but it is not really something you can see if you don't know what to look for, especially if you don't have a boost guage. The video would need some explaination along with the footage. I was getting some creep after installing my STi TMIC on my COOB Stg 2 map, but I got a protune done and it is gone now. I guess, if I was nice, I could reflash to the COBB map and try to get a video of it...but I don't know if I feel like it. Last edited by Slowsoul; 03-19-2007 at 01:13 PM. |

I install my ebay exhaust last saturday without em, I have not seen any signs of boost creep, if I get I will make a video. My gauge reads in psi what should I be looking for, my car feel fast in first and second after that it feels weak.

I have a video but you really can't tell that it happened. The camera is mounted off the top off the backseat and it was very bright that day so the gauges can not be seen but u can hear it. let me know if you want the vid

CBE or TBE? There is a HUGE difference. You won't get it with just a CBE. You do know that this is not a good thing, right?

It's not rocket science. Boost goes to X(target) psi, needle then slowly climbs past X psi until you hit fuel cut/tuning limitations/blow up/etc...

You should of asked about one week ahead of time because i use to have boost creep/fuel cut bad and i would of made a video for you. I was suppose to hit 17psi but i alway hit over 21psi+. Now she is in the shop ready to shine All i had was Aps TBE 3.5 catless, Cobb-Tunning ecu reflash (stage 2), and Perrin uppipe.
