Default JIC FLTA-2 owners: anyone have trouble reaching their damper adjustment knobs?

The way i have my current height settings and installation of helper springs in the rear struts, my damper adjustment knobs are so far recessed into the bottom of the strut that my somewhat short fingers are having trouble reaching in, getting a decent grip and turning them. Just wondering if anyone else is having a simlar problem.

My fronts aren't nearly as recessed so this isn't an issue.

Ed

Same problem here.

What I do is I use a spark plug socket to do adjustments. The socket is lined with a rubber piece inside and that helps grab the adjustment knob. Just have to feel/listen carefully to the number of adjustment clicks.

I think when i take mine off this winter, im going to jbweld some 12mm nuts on the adjusters..

the helper springs really moved the adjustment up into the shaft body
