Yep, i slathered motor oil on the o-rings to make sure they slid in nicely this time.
I also want to recommend cleaning both mating surfaces very well before rtv and reinstall. I just didn't even want to have to deal with any sort of oil leak so I cleaned almost every trace of old rtv from the pan and block and wiped with solvent to ensure a leak free pan. |
