Anyone anyone??

I don't know how soon you need it but if you need any parts for a real good price check out Josh at Import Image Racing. He can give you some sweeet deals! I might need a wideband soon too.

What standalone are you going with and who's tuning your car?

Just asking because I live within walking distance from there. I get my gas from Philips 66 since I feel their E85 is probably the best around the area. As for ecu I use AEM's older box, but I believe Haltech makes good ones for our cars and AEM is coming out with a newer box with USB support etc. It will probably sport a faster processor too, since the one in mine is an 8bit processor and that was considered old even when it debuted. As for wideband sensors, I get mine from Fusionworks. They should go for around 60-80 dollars assuming you already have the necessary gauges, control units to use them.

Eh, I need a whole setup, Im lost between an AEM and an innovate.

Anyone have any input??

For EM I got a SimTek unit from the UK, def a rare bird here. Im the only one this side of the atlantic with one!

Im going to do most of the tuning, then one of my buddies in Tulsa will help me with the fine details. Ive already got it up and running good with minor tweaks from the base map.

Very nice setup though. Replaces the factory ecu board, so I just made a small notch in the side of my ecu case for the cable. Retains all factory sensors, and actually its runs on a map based system (factory MAP sensor) instead of the MAF sensor. All it uses the MAF for is IAT, thats easily removed by adding a aftermarket IAT sensor in the ic or even the intake manifold. Which I'll eventually get to once I go rotated. Then of course all the other goodies, anti-lag, launch control, 2 selectable maps using some gas pedal trickery, Its sweet, and I love it.

Wow you got some BIG plans! Cool. Good luck! Do you guys tune your own cars or who is doing the tuning?

I have no experience with the innovate you are talking about, but I do have experience with AEM's UEGO wideband kit, which uses a Bosch LS1 oxygen sensor. I used it on a friend's car which I tuned. Overall I have to say it is a pretty good unit being capable of reading in Lambda if you're a little old school like me. I personally use an AEM UEGO to EMS controller so it did not come with a gauge, but instead I purchased a Serial Datastream guage which hooks up to the serial port on the ecu and spits out 19 different statistics including afr, oil press, oil temp, coolant temp, etc. As for sensors, my tune doesn't use the MAF too. I use the MAP sensor solely for air density, and an AEM IAT sensor mounted into my intercooler piping.

innovate is good and I have also owned a plx . I like the innovate the best cause of its support with romraider and different logging software . You can get bosch wb sensors from advaced auto parts for around 50bucks . Just tell them you want the front precat 02 sensor for a 2002-03 VW turbo beetle . Same sensor everyone else sells for 80bucks .

I have a GSL392 inline Walbro, lying around. I may use it though since I am running out of pump with E85... As for the Y-pipe I have the stock one.

I have the ERZ and fits nearly perfectly, I think Rex had one too. But the Surewin that I put on Austin's car was a different story. The flanges were fine, but the J hanger tab and the mount that goes to the transmission were not even close.

Well , this one has no hangers on the downpipe to bolt to the tranny . If I would have known that I wouldn't of bought it . It ended up about 2" from where it should have been . I went to american muffler and they just heated up my exaust and bent it til it fit .

Someone has to have a friend with a 08/09 WRX/STi or 05+ Legacy GT (manual) that maybe interested in a brand NEW downpipe, never installed......I paid $272...letting go for......

$200

http://www.rallysportdirect.com/shop...ly-p-3522.html

Since I may have to get rid of STi before I leave for Italy, I am parting out exhaust. Catback is pending sell tomorrow..just need to get rid of downpipe.

I wont know if STi is going with me or not for a couple more months, if it does I will just repurchase exhaust then.
