I too have a 12/31 ETA, ordered on 10/4. Would love to see the car get here a bit earlier.

You have to contact them directly to get quoted for the STi or WRX. Funny enough mine came out to 40 bucks a month CHEAPER than my Outback Sport...

I have 12/31 too but SOA agent told me that because of the holidays coming up it might be deliver to dealer a few days to a week late depend on how far away are you from the port your car is at. My car is scheduled to unload at port on 12/18 so that shouldn't be delayed by holiday. So if they can process all the accessories installation fast and ship my car out before christmas I might get it a week earlier than expected but if they can't get it to ship until after christmas then it'll be by the end of december or first week of january. so I'm hoping there isn't too many WRX on the same ship with me

I'll soon be moving out of this thread.

DGM STI 4-door
Base model
Nav
Short throw shifter
Fog lights
Front splitter
Autodim mirror w/ HomeLink

06/12 - Attempted to order. Told I need to wait for 2013 ordering to open.

08/15/12 - Ordered / Received VON

09/12 - Order placed on Hold status

11/12 - Received VIN / Received ETA of 12/17/12

12/11/12 - Dealership received CO (?). Not sure what it is but they stated it is like the car's birth certificate.

12/12/12 - Car arrived at dealer / Scheduled pick up on Friday afternoon.

Ordered from small volume dealer in south central PA. Only STI / WRX ordered from the dealer so far this year.

I feel for you guys who are still waiting. It sucked seeing orders being filled that were placed after mine. Don't really care so much now. My only excuse for not going bonkers is a busy work / school / family schedule.

Quick question.

I found a match for my car in another state but it's almost 4 hours away. Is there any way I could get my dealership to trade with them or is it possible to purchase the car that is out of state without actually having to go there?

For those waiting who got the nav, IMHO the wait is worth it. I don't have much to compare to, but there are alot of nice functions that I though were really neat.

I'm glad I waited to get the nav, some say there are better out there for less. but to have it already come with the car and avoid the hassle of dropping off the car at a shop to install is worth it.

This will probably be my last post here, so again good luck to all waiting. Like many ppl said, the wait was well worth it.

Mine came in 8 days shy of six months..... Trust me when I tell you, it is worth the wait as much as it sucks. I upgraded from a 2002 WRX, stage 2 with suspension, and various other power mods, have driven 06-07 STi's tuned and stock, tuned WRX's and by far this is the best driving. Handling is excellent (haven't gotten to really take fast corners) but I had to avoid an accident and it is so responsive it was startling.

Good luck, with wait... The second I sat in her I forgot about the last six months...

Dude, it's only 4 hours. Why don't you just go? Get the deal done over the phone and just go sign and pick it up and drive it back. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday if you ask me.

Just picked her up tonight. Too dark for good pics but will put some up later.

Only took 6 weeks and 4 days from time of order! See my prior post for dates/options.

DGM STI 5-door w/ Navi:

Ordered: Nov 04
VoN: Nov 05
VIN: Nov 25th
ETA: Dec 31st
Memphis, TN dealership.

They thought that it was going to arrive in March when I had originally placed the order. I'm deployed until March so it's going to be their showroom piece until I get back. Not too happy about a bunch of people sitting in and touching my car for 2 months.

Man up! If you want the ride call, confirm its available, and get some figures started. I am driving 8 hrs home from my dealership to pick up my car on Saturday. With flight and drive time alone it's about 11 hours.

You can ask your salesman to contact that dealer if your dealer has a car to trade for it. Most dealer won't trade unless they can get something similar in return or get a good price out of it. Expect to pay a premium price if the trade is at all possible. You can also go to the dealer that has the car directly but also expect to pay premium price for it as well.

Lol you might want to tell them to not do that. People abuse the showroom cars. I know I was when I was checking out the WRX my dealer had in their showroom haha. I was turning every knob possible.

And you haven't try to get some more practice since then? This is my first manual car and I practiced the hell out of my friend car so I know how to drive manual before my car came. Though I did know how to drive manual before hand. Just needed some practice since I never drove manual after I got my license. I'm ready to drive my car anyday now.

It worked!!! Sorry for all the screw ups. Here is my 2013 DGM STi base sedan. It was delivered and picked up from dealer 12/12/12. Original order date was 6/20/2012 as a 2012 model year.

Wow! You have the patience of a high level monk LOL. I hope you got a ton of free options because a 6 month wait is absurd.. People who pre order exotic cars dont even wait that long. Grats tho, I bet all that waiting made it so much better once it was recieved!

Well, when I test drove it, the car was in S# the whole time. I found out towards the end and switched it to I. Much easier to drive..

My friend let me drive his WRX around and I did okay.. But when I get near hills and stuff I panic and give it too much gas or not enough gas..

Been out of the subaru game for only about a year. Went yesterday to Romano subaru in Syracuse and ordered a 13' DGM Sti sedan base model, was told they should know if itll be on their allocation list by the end of January...Should be able to pick her up sometime at the end of february or the beginning of March. Didnt really get any other info, i need to call the dealership back and get my order # i believe.

will have more info in the next few days.
