Default how do you remove the ignition from the steering column?

Hi all,
Does anyone know how to remove the ignition from the steering column. I only see two bolts that appear to be non-removable?? Any help would be appreciated

drill a hole into the tops of the bolts and use a screw extractor.

i had to do this on my CRX after it was stolen and i had to replace the piece that was broken off with a hammer. i took a dremel and cut a slot into it, then used a flat head screwdriver to remove it.

Dremel a slot into the bolt heads, then unscrew them. They come out easily.

Hate to bring back from the dead but mine was broken into and I bought a new steering column. Could i simply do this instead of installing the whole column? I have the key for the old and new one also.
