Wow what a nice looking powerband. The spool is fantastic, wish it still had the .82a/r though...

Very cool, I can't wait to see what the GTX3576R will do w/ your low mount kit.

Any reason you decided to keep it single scroll?

Also as stated above, got any pics with the front bumper off?

I second the need for pictures without the front bumper.

Will the bigger turbos still fit? And if so do you think the weight will cause any issues? I'd part with my kit for something like this.

Guys, thanks so much for the kind words!

The goal of this kit is to provide OEM responsiveness (+200wtq by 3,000 RPMs, with the pull starting at 2,500RPMs) but provide significantly more power. Making big power is good fun, but I really didn't want to take a hit in streetability, because I want to DRIVE it everyday and not have to rev it to the roof to make the power... And track competitiveness and reliability is important as many of us often find outselves at a motorsports events on the weekends

Here is a plot with the 0.82 A/R, showing power going a bit higher in the revs than I'd like for OEM heads, but we were curious when it started to fall.

The car drove fairly well, but the tune needed improvement, as the plot shows, and I really wanted to go Speed Density as well as make a few other small changes. So I swapped the housing and headed to EFI Logics.

Worked with Garrett on this part. According to some simulations and actually testing they had previously done, this housing 'adapter' actually improves surge characteristics and has no negative effects on power capability. So far, we can't tell any difference.

Here the scavenge pump. Took a bit to get it sorted out, but it works flawlessly now
Bracket mounts to OEM tapped holes and is made from 1/8" thick stainless.

Mock up bumper beam shown here. The 'real' one is 1" square solid steel. Intercooler end tanks are just tacked together here and the the radiator placement tested. Extremely close to the end fitment.

Real bumper beam shown here with bumper mounting points and intercooler mounting. Pluming from compressor outlet to intercooler inlet is ~9" total, so shorter and with fewer bends than an OEM TMIC.

Exhaust gasses perfectly straight in and straight out. This gives the absolute maximum potential turbine efficiency. According to Garrett anyway, who am I to argue

Guys thanks again! As always, the comments, questions and concerns are always welcome. Since someday this may be an available product, we want to make sure we don't miss anything

I didn't feel the added cost/complexity of TS was worth it. It would also make the packaging much more difficult than it already is. This kit is essentially bolt on, no fabrication required

Garrett talked me into going with the GTX3576-R next based on the balance and fact that extrnally the dimensions are the same. We'll see. If anyone wnted to go bigger turbo, it should be much easier on a GR since there is more room and going that route on a GD would just mean some minor fab/hammer work.

Thanks and I take no offence, I'm a terrible photographer!

I researched and shopped for cores for a while as I'm not one to cheap out. The core dimensions are 10.5" x 18" x 4.5" The custom grill insert moves the plate out of the way and closes off the edges to make sure air goes through, not around. So far temps have been in check even after several loaded pulls. On the street is stays cool, cool enough that I have stopped monitoring intake temps.

^ Here's an old CAD sketch and a top pic of the I/C to throttle body. From compressor to I/C it's compressor outlet, silicone 90°, coupler, silicone 45° and intercooler inlet. That's all

Oh and to answer a few future questions.. There is no turbo coolant reservoir since it's no longer needed. There is a vacuum manifold coming off the turbo inlet so there is still a vacuum source for the Crawford A/O seperator, Fuel purge, etc.

Thanks for the kind words! We'll be trying a GTX3576 next and that should fit too so we're told.

It wouldn't take a lot to go BIG if you you wanted to do some fab work on your own. Right now we want to stay as 'bolt-on' as possible.

Will your kit include the IC/Radiator/scavenge pump? Or just turbo and piping? Any projected release dates/pricing?

might want to think about putting some metal rings on the silicone inlet to prevent collapsing...ala APS

Header, up-pipe, down-pipe, WG dump tube (recirc), intercooler, radiator, bumper beam and some brackets. I'm not going to be reselling the off-the-shelf products as they sell every other week with a new vendor having the 'best prices'. Plus eveyton has their own preferences and budget for things like hoses, clamps, etc...

Sorry, we decided on the Garrett products. They are a tried and true product and products/parts can be found virtually anywhere at anytime. I'm just not on the EFR bandwagon. Plus there's no freaking way those huge things will fit, lol.

I swapped out the cheapo hose (although we never had problems with collapse) for a for the nicer made in the USA Turbo Logic stuff. Their stuff is better than anything else I've seen and we're going to use this stuff on everything from now on, although it is pricey.

With the cheapo stuff on there we never saw or had any syptoms of collapse in the year we drove it. If it was smaller than 3" I'd be concerned. Plus the legs are pretty short so it would take a boatload of vacuum to make it collapse.
