Default Will the front CV Axles from a 2.5RS fit my 95 L?

can anyone tell me if the front CV axles from a 99 2.5RS will fit a 95 Impreza L?

Don't see why not, but don't know for sure. AFAIK, the RS only differs from the L from the center diff back, but don't just take my word for it. Ask a dealer to check teh part #s for you.

BTW, hows the swap going?

There's a chance the axles might not fit. On my FWD 95 L, I popped a bearing in my drivers side CV axle and got a new one from Autozone - it fit, but the new one's input gear(?) was a smaller diameter than the old one. As I let the clutch out, the little pin that holds the gear in place snapped, and I heard a grinding metal sound.
Of course, this may be something only applicable to FWD Imprezas, but who knows?
