I'm sitting at 9 weeks with no updated eta. I might call them today and see what's up. I'm going on vacation in Japan next week. My luck it'll show the day I leave.

Swp premium. Utah.

Just got off the phone with my dealer. No updates and no ETA. He said since I'm at six week I'm at my 1/2 way point for the wait.

Was hoping since everyone else is getting theirs earlier that mine would be here soon too.

Me too but I wasn't 100% sold on it until I saw it in person. Some pictures make it look off or dull. But it is beautiful in person

I agree, I used to have aspen white subaru and I love the color and when Subaru came with the satin pearl white, I wasnt so sure because it had more yellow in it and I saw a few in person and changed my mind, the pearl makes it beautiful.

Been trying to guess which ship my Subie is on, hoping it's the Leo Leader which should hit Davisville, RI sometime around midnight. Was informed by my dealer the other day that this is the port where all their cars get dropped off.

I got the same quote from my dealer. Still no call. Someone said it before but the wait once you get your ETA is worse than the previous 3 months.

Anyone know how long it usually takes between the port and arrival to dealership? I'm only 8 hours away from my wrx, its like I can go and pick it up on my own instead of waiting for those truckers to go and pick it up lol. Been at the port since Saturday.

From "Sticky: Questions we cannot answer on NASIOC ( 1 2 3 ... Last Page)"

Will XXX modification void my warranty? The ONLY ways you can void your warranty are to remove your vehicle outside the United States states or odometer tampering. That's it, nothing else will void your warranty. Modifying your vehicle can impact warranty service on specific components. For example, if you add a boost controller and you have a transmission problem, there is/can be a case for a cause/effect to deny warranty service on your transmission. Will they still have to fix your broken power window? Yes. Will they fix your transmission? No. The determination on what warranty issues get resolved gets made by each regional SOA representative. This means that Bill in Tampa and Steve in Chicago may get polar opposite results with 100% identical mods. Fair? No, but that's what happens with human nature. Want 100% warranty resolution 100% of the time? Keep your car 100% stock.

Order placed today 2/26/12. 2013 STI Sedan in SWP or WRB which ever becomes available first. I was told to expect a 5 month wait. I really hope it won't take that long. Quick question though; I ordered through a SDC dealer. My salesman mentioned that Subaru wouldn't make a custom car for me, instead they try to match it to a car they already have. Would this be different at an SOA dealer? i.e. If I ordered at an SOA dealer would they have made my car custom, leading to me getting it faster? Thanks in advance

at an SOA dealer you can choose whatever options you want. 5 month wait is definitely a bit too long. 3 is the standard

Does that mean they would have made the car for me instead of looking for a match?
