Default intermediate pipe hp gains

hey
I have had a ractive muffler for sometime now on MY98 L. It has a 4 1/2" tip and I believe it was 2 1/2" inlet... I only paid 100 bucks for it and it gave me all the gain I want... however now I want to put in the intermediate pipe.... does anyone know what kind of gains I'm looking at after I install the pipe?

Also what is the big difference from lets say my muffler and the scoobysport one? I mean is there a significant hp gain or is it just the sound?
thanks!

More than likely the difference between the scoobysport and your ractive would be sound. Though the Ractive might flow better if it's the muffler I'm thinking of.

As for gains from changing the midpipe...eh...can't say...I don't think anyone has done any real dynotesting of that. But suffice to say, it'll make more of a difference than just putting on a rear section.
