Brandon, waiting on a shipment of hardware...will send you some hardware to mod the mount and keep it rigid.
Here's a new slow-motion vid...

I did get a little ride with the mount on the front axles sliders. But at 100mph the axle slider will rotate so the camera moves.
I gotta figure something out. Hmmmmmmm...... |

I wouldn't go posting those in the moto thread in OT, you'll get flamed for the jeans and general hooliganism Quote:
Love the slo-mo. I got lots of good 60fps from the last races, but I don't think roadracing will come out nearly as exciting as the jumps you've captured in slo-mo. |

I will learn how to get it down a little farther when I hit the track and get in on that class at Lonestar. |

Ted, You officially have the best job in the whole world!
Just got back from my trackday it was great! Trying to see if I can afford going to TWS in July or maybe a bit later. I would totally be in for ECR if you guys head this way sometime. |

We'll be back at ECR August 27-29 for the races. Probably not before then as I don't much care for Ridesmart. And if you miss our trackdays at TWS in July I may have to hunt you down. |

I am saving as we speak! I was just worried about sleeping accommodations, etc, etc, for TWS. Where as ECR is like 45mins away. So August is just races at ECR? Maybe I can come watch if it doesn't cost any I'd love to meet the crew. |

your friend was reeling you in on the brakes! I've been wanting to take my KTM 9fiddy to a trackday just to see what it could do. Pretty sure I'll cook the front rotor though |

Yea he was on stock tires. He was on us the whole first part of the day. Once I figured it out times dropped from 2:50 to 2:20's and he could not touch us. He just wanted about 15 more hp and some better tires. He is a old dirtbiker that still races so he is at home on that bike.
He is thinkin about getting a Dosoduro. If he can find a new one cheap enough or a used one. |

I am thinking she will be ok with it if he sells the one he has got now. Last year I saw a wrecked one for like 4k. It was still ride able. I am going to have him talk to Ed when he is ready, and he will be at one of those trackdays eventually. If you guys track any of those DD would be cool to see. |

It was kinda a private day. There were maybe 25 bikes there. There was a short blonde lady running the track that day.
It worked well for awhile but the bumps by the last 2 turns worked it loose and I lost it in the grass. Some hard rubber on the clamp I think would make it bullet proof. I dunno if you have meet Chris aka CBar but he mentioned a track day in August @ Harris Hill. Said he had a place for us to crash so we might do that one as it will give me a little more time for moolah! I heard TWS is fast and that Harris Hill is tight but have a lot of cracks? It is not tighter than ECR is it? |

I should have used some safety wire but I didn't have any. But I still think a hard rubber compound is the way to go. He will most likely need to be heat resistant.
Tre is on it! |

Yeah, Lonestar is doing a trackday at Harris Hill in August, we'll be there for that. Elite does trackdays there all the time, you can check them out if you want. TWS is fast, but very wide and accommodating. Once you get used to the sensation of speed it's no different than any other track. Well, diving into T1 at 175 is a little different, but yeah Harris Hill is very flowing with no real straight, completely opposite of ECR. The cracks aren't the problem at Harris Hill, the bumps are. The cars have really done a number on it and it doesn't really cater to liter bikes at all any more. The SXVs and RS125 really shine at Harris Hill. |

Damn Wish you guys were doing a track day this way at MSR or ECR sometime soon. Seems like those 2 are the nicer tracks from what I have heard. |
