Default Seat Refurbishing?

Is there anywhere in the NoVa area that re-do seats? After 113,xxx miles, my WRX seats have seen better days... I was thinking of maybe having them re-upholstered with maybe something a little more upscale.

Probably just cheaper to buy used wrx seats in better condition from another member...

I got my full set for $250... I think getting them re-upholstered would be a bit more expensive.

Depends on what you're doing, how much you wish to spend. I liked my stock Miata leather seats and wanted to pull a little padding out of the seat area. I went to an upholestry shop near Andrewtech and got them reskinned w/ a "pleather" that's much better than the original leather (very supple, but taut). I paid $550 and they did the windshield for $200. Really liked the shop.

I think it's called Classic Upholestry (off Rickenbacker Dr).

I think prices vary a lot....I called several shops about changing the piping on my MINI seats and was quoted as much as $2500 Yeah, selling them and buying Recaro's was cheaper

Yea, I only was thinking about this option because my roommate got both of his front seats in his 4Runner re-done for $200...and it is an amazing job. Sure, they used a plether material, but none-the-less it's fantastic for the price.

$200 for both?! Wow...I still feel like I got a great price for the quality and the material. I would rather pay $200 though. If you find out the name, please post up/PM me. My friend's got a Miata he'd like to do.

Haha, I probably should have said that it was also down here in North Carolina. I don't remember if it was somewhere here at ECU or if it was back in Jacksonville where he's from... I'll ask him later. I might have to take a trip to J-ville
