Default Grimmspeed vs OEM Y-pipe...

I did some looking & came up short. I'm currently wondering what the real difference is compared to the Grimmspeed Y-pipe vs. the OEM one that it's based off.
I am currently putting a Spearco intercooler onto my EJ20G (with a AMR C70R turbo & a full dyno tune).

Ok so with money not being the factor, is there a point to go with the Grimmspeed Y-pipe? My Spearco came with an OEM Y-pipe that has the 2 cast pieces & silicone couplers... I can't find any comparisons however from just pictures it sort of looks like the Grimmspeed Y-pipe has a larger bore, is smoother internally & the "Y" split is smoother and divides the air up better?

Would there be an advatange to buy this Y-pipe or just work the inside of the OEM one to smooth out some of the cast marks? (remember money isn't the factor, I have the money just don't want to spend it if it's useless).

Is there any other Y-pipe people prefer? I saw a Samco but it looks like it's only for WRX.

OEM 1 piece is preferred over the 2 piece Grimmspeed?

Thanks

I'm also wondering if anybody thinks it's a good idea to have the Y-Pipe ceramic coated? This would keep the heat in the pipe allowing the giant Spearco to do it's job and keep some of the heat from soaking up into the fins & maybe reduce engine bay temps, anybody think this is good?

heat from the turbo is only created at full boost, when any heat in the Y-PIPE is being forced away from the intercooler by the air flowing through it. If peak temps in the y-pipe from the turbo were 140 deg c at full boost, they would drop by 50% to 70deg c in a split second once boost drops and further when cruising. So very little heat soak radiated from the y-pipe. Any benifits gained by covering the pipe would be offset by not having air flow over the uncovered pipe I would have thought.
