Totally subjective question.

I was 21. Still am. Do what you can afford to do, and no more.

I was 21 when I bought it...sold it at 24(current) due to second kid.

It'll probably be another 5-10 years before I can afford another :\.

19 when I bought my 2004. 24 when I bought my 2006.

Age means nothing when buying something, it's how mature you are and how you act along with if you can afford it.

Bought my one and only WRX when I was 20 for my 21st birthday gift to myself. Do it if you can afford it, don't do it if you can't support yourself. I have never regretted buying it, even if some people told me I was too young to have a nice car before graduating from college.

All I can say is that I had great memories with my car during college (graduated this year); it will be tough for me to let this go one day.

Agree. People who are young tend to think more short term. "I want a cool car even if my whole paycheck goes toward it." Be content with driving something reliable and affordable until you're more financially secure.

I'm 18 n just bought a 2012 wrx in January. Graduated Highschool at 16, graduated UTI in December for diesel mechanics. Got a pretty good job at a dealership makin $27/hr so I decided mine as well do it right the first time.

Go in debt now and pay it off when you are too old to drive fast. You'll never be able to retire in our country again anyway.

30, waited till I bought a house, had a rad job, zero consumer debt, and expendable income before making that choice. No regrets and paid it off in 8 months.

I was 18 and got totally ripped off buying a 2 year old 05 STI. Fell in love and traded in my focus on the spot. $4k over blue book, 18.75% interest and it was a repo... Learned the hard way! 30 cars later and Im still looking at Subaru's as my next car. ^_^

I bought my first WRX at the end of June this year. I'm 23 years old and have paid off the car. And I'm thankfully not broke
