Scoop into 2.5i hood...
Is it possible? if so what would be required...cutting, fitting...

Possible? Sure, with a lot of cutting. You'd probably want to trace a cutout template from someone with a WRX or STi.
You might actually try to trade your hood. It seems like there are a lot of guys who have gone with a fmic and are looking for the 2.5i hood for a stealthy look. |

Keep in mind that there is a 1/4" indent in the WRX/STI hood for the scoop to sit flush. With your hood the scoop would be sitting directly on top of the hood. It would not flow as well. I would say to just swap hoods.

Besides the indent for the hood scoop, there are also metal tabs in the hood that scoop snaps into. Cutting your hood to install a scoop would not be a good idea.
