Can you offer any tips or advice for people who might consider doing the same modification? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

thanks everyone for liking it. i didn't take any pics while i'm doing it, it's not easy. this is how work i have to do.

move battery futher back as you can.
remove the high bean solenoid of the projectors.
move battery futher back, cause projector will stick out the housing. olso make a (bulb cover) for the back of the housing using the stock cover, cut a hole in the cover, put a rubber boot over the stock cover for weather proof.
mount projector on to the housing (not the refector).
mount the ballasts to the bottom of the headlights(stock location)
sorry i couldn't take anymore pic of the headlight, cause i have returned the camera. let me say guys it's very hard, in the begining i was thinking of selling them, but after all that hard work i'm not for sell it.

that's one reason why i decided to keep the bug-eyed look. the projector lights on the bug-eyed version is just beautiful. however, 04wrxsti, that's an awesome job man. just phenomenal! had you done this when the MY04's just came out, i would've seriously bought one. this could be THE mod of the year, no doubt. very, very nice.

Awsome job I just put H.I.D.'s on my04 and they look awsome I just wish that they made projectors for my04. Also did you ever think of buying the morettes and then making them projectors like the bugeyes are.

just a thought.

you know you could actually start a small little business with your talent and make them for peolpe that are interested in those.

i personal think using morettes maybe easier to retrofit. then you may want to use these www.rallylights.com/hella/120mm_modules.asp .
this is for anyone try to retrofit like i did warning warning it's not easy, when i was doing it half way i almost gave up. reason the audi a6 projectors is 6" in length, 04 headlght doesn't have too much room inside, battery in the way, which i move it futher back. maybe using other shorter length projectors maybe easier. for example bosh projectors or valeo. they are shorter in length. a little business maybe not. but for anyone live in toronto if interested my headlights pm me. good luck to u all trying retrofit.

seriously though, you could make a quite a bit of money though on this. you gots some talent and that's awesome what you did man. props! hell, i was scared out my a$$ when converting my JDM projectors to LHD. this looks like a break-through. think about it! yeah, i guess time is the devil though. many of us don't have the time and i'm sure you don't. well, at least you're the only one with these.
