Default NW Subaru/SRT-4 meet/drive

Hey everyone. Me and my vice president are putting a drive on for the 28th of February. Detail are as follows:
7:00 AM-------Meet in Olympia for Breakfast (for those who want to)
8:00 - 9:00 ---Everyone else meet
9:00 ----------Leave for Drive
11 ish --------Stop for Break and photo op somewhere in the middle
1-2:00 ---------Return to Olympia for Lunch At Red Robin
EDIT: Added the route for everyone to see.

We thought is would be cool for two forums to get together, and do a short drive (compared to Olympic Loop). Here is the thread on the srt-4 forums:
http://www.srtforums.com/forums/show...9&page=1&pp=15
You can find all the details there, including the map of the drive. We're hoping for a good turn-out between the two forums. So who's interested on such a short notice?

HMMMM I must have missed something, seems I can only see one side of the story.

Well anyways, here is the post I made on SRT forums, I want so much to get as many Subaru's out to this meet as possible, you guys should have no problem out numbering us, and we are expecting 15 to 20 SRT's along. I love Ryans WRX and it has really givin me a healthy respect for the WRX, because till I met him I hadn't had a WRX beat me at the track. (We'll see who's faster this spring Ry ) I was WAY impressed. And now I know there are alot more even faster than our cars out there.

The loop is 150 miles, I was trying to find something quite a bit shorter than the Olymic loop...

The whole loop it's self with a few side trips took 3.5 hours when I did it last weekend. I took and added in alittle time here and there to make up for a buch of cars and taking alittle time at the Park/Side drive

Hey RON, remember, there is more to the Subaru community than just WRX's. Some of the people here have some REALLY nice RS Impreza's, Outbacks, Legacy's, etc. Thanks for the comment though. I just don't want anyone feeling insulted. I hope we get a good turn-out as well.

I love these outings!

I don't care what you drive, its the love for our cars and a respect for what other machines can do that give us all a common bond.

Count me in.

I wasn't trying to be exclusive at all, Any and all Subaru's are invited and I was expecting more than just WRX's, I'm just so used to seeing WRX's as the majority of subaru's at meets and shows.

Please forgive me. (cowers into corner)

Hopefully now that Ryan has so Staightened my ignorance out, you guys can now come on the drive with us

WRXWuLf ---- Thanks alot for posting on the SRT forums about comeing.

Hey thanks for the invite.

I wanna wait and see how this drive goes first. The one and only time I went on a drive out-side of Impreza.net it was a bad experience. A couple of us drove to Oceanshores with VWvortex and it turned into a cannonball run. Needless to say, that was the last time I went on a drive that wasn't organized by Impreza.net.

If this one goes well I'll be more than happy to join you guys on the next drive you organize.

I totally hear where your comming from, and I agree that a cruz like this is not the place tosee who can get there the fastest, or find out who can get arrested first for being a moron.

This drive is basicly put on buy NW SRT's and Midnight Motor sports, part of the rulz in Midnight when we are on club events we conduct ourselves like mature adults. Here is part of our bylaws stateing how we (Midnight Motorsports) are to conduct ourselves.

Article 8:
CODE OF CONDUCT
All official, potential, and associate members shall conduct
themselves in a manner becoming of a mature adult whether at a
club meeting, function or as an individual. Any behavior that
causes disrespect, whether directly or indirectly, may be grounds
for probation or termination of membership. Disrespectful actions
and behavior affect ALL club members and the community
appearance of the club and its purpose. Disrespectful actions and
behavior include, but are not limited to:
Illegal driving behavior
Burnouts
Donuts
Speeding (including parking lots)
Street Racing
Disrespect for law enforcement and other motorists
Bias attitudes
Segregation
Remember, as a member of Midnight Motorsports, we keep it ON
THE TRACK.

http://www.midnight-motorsports.com/aboutus.htm

Of course I can't inforce this on anyone who is not a Midnight Member, BUT I am going to talk to everyone and lay down some expected behavior while we are in a group driving

I want this drive to be FUN, but I also want it to be SAFE.

I hope you'll think about this and reconsider comeing along

I'd love to make it for this, too. Will definitely try. That and a friend of mine would love to show up too (supporting to Dodge fellows) with a "slighty modified" 5.9 R/T Dakota. he's waiting on his correct fuel rails to show up, and do the break in on the motor.
