This might be a stupid question but I have a braided oil feed line for my FP20g. Can I just add an oil restrictor to the same line to use on a BB turbo?

Never knew that, always assumed they were LGT's, and so I will continue to call them such.

Dude grimmspeed sells the brackets for 20ish bucks. Don't ruin your turbo with a weld.

And if you are going with a ewg and keeping the stock turbo. Y do you want a 44 mm waste gate if you don't plan to go big?

that's a great write up. I guess I'm looking at it with the tuning aspect. Low boost is easier to control with 44mm, more exhaust gasses bypassed less boost. and high boost is easier to control with 38 mm, less exhaust gasses bypassed more boost. With the smaller turbos, people tend to run a greater amount of boost. With the large wastegate and a small turbo the boost level are more likely to fluctuate and up and down when the wastegate opens. Not saying that will happen and the 44mm I'm sure will work fine for you. You seem like you have made a educated decision for.

I might need your assistance sometime in the somewhat near future. I have a trans with a broken bell housing and an RS trans that I could use for the case.

guess I'm just saying the real difference between the 38 and 44 is boost control. How much boost and how Uluru are controlling it and how much time the tuner will spend on the boost tables
