Default R Fan turns on then shuts off

Hey when I start my car, both my fans kick on but then my right fan quickly turns off and doesnt start spinning again. Its connected properly, the connection is pretty basic.

Could the fan be bad? Even if its still turning on on start up?

Why would both fans come on when you start your car? Can you fill out your profile so we know which vehicle you're talking about?

Turn the A/C off on start up and they will stay off.

Second, its normal for either one of them to shut off when ever the ECU tells them to. One fan is for cooling the engine the other is to cool the A/C condenser. When you turn the A/C on, the driver (left) side fan will come on, then shortly turn off, then on and off again.....ect.

This is not new of any vehicle, about 90% of vehicles from the mid 80's all do this.

Driver side = Left
Passenger side = Right
