I recommend flex...Someone had a cast one with flex at one of the meets, I can't remember who made it but it was a quality piece.

Turboxs...cast iron...like stock ex manifold and cheap w/5 yr warranty. Autospeed is nice, flex w/velocity stack. W/flex, even a novice can avoid leaks.

I bought the Helix with the flex. NTB to install (Took Me a long time BC I didnt know WTH I was doing), it comes with gaskets for You, and I havent had a leak thus far (Kock on wood)

If You get one, I would suggest heat wrapping it or getting it coated as well.

I think the cast with the flex might have been an aps. I would recommend the turbo xs as well but if your looking one with flex try an mrt or a vishnu. If you get the vishnu you can buy the kit which comes with new studs and gaskets as well it's about 300.

I have the Gruppe-S up-pipe and it is a solid piece with thick flanges. It works well so far. I am very happy with it and for the price you can't beat it.

I would also recommend the autospeed flex uppipe.. .it's quality is top notch.... I run this one myself and love it.

PS... someoen on the forum had these for like 230 or 250 or something.... much better price than the 320 I paid last year.

The other thing you need to concider is EGT sensors.

Many of the newer uppipes have no place for sensores, stock or otherwise. Most of the sensorless pipes come with a resistor that fools the computer into thinking everything is OK. Some have bungs for the stock sensor. The car does not use the EGT reading for anything except a CEL warning.

The APS uppipe comes with two holes, one for the factory EGT and one for an aftermarket gauge.
