Holy crap!
My cat just wigged out and attacked the glass storm door leading out to the carport. Usually this is the result of another cat invading "her territory," but when I went out to shoo the interloper, it was a
!!! A freakin possum on my carport. Wild suburbia at it's finest. Unfortunately I failed to grab my camera before the thing ran off. Oh well, the stock photo will have to do.

It's got mini-human hands. That's creepy.

possums are fun...i was hot tubbin back in the day and one wandered into the yard, so it started lobbing pine cones at it...if i came close, it would stop, flop down on to its side, and play dead for a few minutes...good times

This one was ascairt of me. It didn't play dead at all, it just took off (that was pretty funny to watch, too. Possums don't get up and haul too often, I guess). I just wonder what the heck it was doing chilling in my carport. I guess maybe looking for acorns to eat or something, but Iim not near a wooded area, really, just that there are trees around my house. But the house is in the middle of a big subdivision, so marsupial-boy is pretty far from home. I lead an exciting life. |
