Nothing big - got a custom muffler installed the other week. Looks and sounds great I think!

It doesn't sound nearly as loud in real life as it would seem from the video..

Good/bad - what do you recon?
Sounds great!
More info on the set up please custom made cat or axle back? stock resonator? what muffler was used?

Installed a set of Piaa Forza Hybrid wiper blades today (26" and 16"). They're quite a bit heavier than the OEM ones. After I applied the window treatment that came with it I tested it with a hose and did not notice any streaking.

Note: I'll post some photos of the Piaa bulbs once I get the rest of my parts to upgrade my fogs.

Hm. How much?

I replaced the stock front ones within days of buying my wagon. The stock ones were horrible. I went with the Rain-X ones, but am still looking for a better improvement.

What is the advantage of using spacers vs struts/springs from the XV? Or does that require more components than just the struts/springs?

Wait, did you really pay almost $50 for a single wiper blade?

They all streak over time. Use rain x on the windshield and it helps.

Personally I picked up some goodyear aero blades for 8/each at Costco

Rain x is awesome. I hardly have the wipers on anymore unless its a monsoon. And also makes the wipers work better. Totally worth the $4 per bottle.

Aquapel works well for me, I always thought that Rain-X ruins wiper blades a lot faster than not using it, which is one reason why I switched to Aquapel

My wiper blades have been on my car for 2 years and they still work nearly as well as when I got the car. I used rain x from day one.

Also aquapel isn't nearly as good as rain x is for the first couple weeks. It just stays meh longer...

I have used Rain X since I bought the car as well.

The stock wipers just sucked.

Opti-glass is $80. Not worth ****. You could buy 2 decades worth of rain-x for that.

They're easy to find online. The higher price reflects the quality of the product. I have opti coat on the windows of my cars and it's fantastic. Blows rainx out of the water if you don't mind spending the extra cash. Opticoat in general is just a great product, it's the best protection your car can get. As soon as I have time I'm opti coating my glass paint and wheels

Hmm... says opticoat is not recommended for windshields unless im looking at the wrong stuff. And thats very pricey, especially whens its not even a mod or maintenance. Even if rain-x is half as good its still more bang for the buck (not to mention way easier to apply)

I remember reading discussions about this somewhere, but does the BRZ short antenna from Perrin fit the Impreza? They don't list a short antenna under the 12+ Impreza anymore for some reason.

It does, and it fits perfectly. Had one on my car since I bought it. Looks better, and it's far more solid.

Awesome, thanks! Did you get the 2" or 4"? Also, did you lose much reception?

I believe it's the 2". But I'm not entirely sure.

I find the reception, signal quality and sound quality with the stock radio's AM/FM is sub-par anyway. But it certainly didn't hurt anything. haha

Officially opti coat isn't recommended, although it works perfectly. I've used it on tons of windows with no issues. Incredibly easy to apply, less work than rainx. And unlike rainx opticoat provides a measurable thickness, protecting the paint and glass much better

Nope, they were around $30 each. I'm hoping they will last at least 3 years so it'll be equivalent price wise to me buying whatever Costco has on sale each year.

I've never tried silicon wiper blades before and I've read good things about them so I just wanted to experiment. Also the Piaa blades are quite heavier and seem to have more tension so I'm hoping it will clear snow better in the winter.
