I got smacked about three weeks ago, but it only lasted a day or two.

If I never get as sick as I did last March / April again for the rest of my life, I'll be quite content.

iPatientZero?

I'm teaching this week, too. Which means I have to stand up in front of two dozen engineers (some of which don't really want to be there) and be enthusiastic and engaging. I have a feeling tomorrow will include a little, "Look, f***ers. I feel like ass. I don't have it in me to pry class discussion out of you, so either cut me some slack or a spend the rest of the class doing pedantic exercises that run thirty minutes past the scheduled end of class. Try me."

Just ask your class if they want to work on some immune system building exercises.

Well, the class is on risk management. Simply choosing to come to class will be instructional!

Off to a good start. I've only had three people this week so far saying one or more of the following:

1. The flu shot gave me the flu once - never again!
2. I don't believe in that
3. I never get sick

Really, I don't care if you get the ****ing shot, but the irrationality gives me headaches.

I always get a flu shot but here's something that happened last year...

The site where I got the injection into my shoulder muscle stayed sore for 10 months. I mean, feel-it-every-day sore. If it hadn't have finally faded away I might have not gone in for this year's shot.

Seniors get 'em for free!!!

I need to make an old wrinkly dancing banana.

Why did I think you were in your late 20's-early 30's? I could have sworn you looked about that age in a picture I saw of you...

Maybe I'm slipping into senility as well...

Senility is too main stream. Slip into Capgras's Syndrome.

I had a good old fashion cold a couple of weeks ago with good phlegm-slinging coughing...now I just have some slight sore throat and a stupid dry cough.
