I'll take dibs on the first two. What's the difference between the PIAAs and the WRXs ones? I think I'll just take dibs on the PIAAS. Is everything included? Relay, switch, wires?

The fogs don't come with switch or relay.

The oval one is never used.

How much would it cost to purchase switch/relay to connect the fog lamps?

Derek

Edit: Receipts?

About a buck!

Go to any automotive store and ask for a relay. They're not very expensive.

Oh, and if you don't know what you're doing, you're better off having someone install them for you. Don't want your car to go up in flames due to an electrical short, now would you?

LaterZ!

Hey Derek, I just purchased factory switch and relay from docksteader for $100 taxes in. Relay was $50, switch $50.

That's the price I was thinking of. But Darren says its only a few bucks I dont know, how mh is it for the dealer option for fog lamps? I have a friend whos willing to intsall it for me for free but I need all the parts necessary.

Darren is talking about an aftermarket relay, but I don't know if the pins are the same, therefore you may not be able to plug it into the factory relay box. My Hella's came with a relay but I opted for Subaru as I didn't want to adapt it to work with the factory box.

When I looked at the factory fog kit, I think it was around $400 locally. It is $227 US on Subaruparts.com and they usually have good prices even after exchange.

I purchased the Hella 500 for $120, making my total cost tax in with factory relay/switch around $220 +10 for aluminum and a few hours to make the mount. I wanted more light, but didn't feel fogs were necessary in our climate so I opted for driving lamps.

If you still want fogs, I would buy them used, and get the factory relay/switch to make it an easy install.
