Clearance issue for 245/40/18 on 05' STi????
Hi All,
What you all think if I need to roll my fender on new wheels/tires I'd ordered for my 05' STi with Eibach (1.5" front, 1" rear) lowering springs? They are 18x8 with +48 offset on 245/40/18. Will I need to roll my rear fender to make it cleared the wheels? TIA |

I have 245/40/18's that are 18x8.5 on cobb springs (now i have BC racing BR coilovers) which were about the same, and had no issues what so ever. And my offset was +48 also...

I when to have a look at my rear fender and there aren't much material there to rolled. BTW, how difference going from lower springs to coilovers? Is it worth the extra $ for someone like myself that doesn't plan on doing any off roading? |

Yes that's what I meant off-road is referring to auto cross/track and not rally. I have the Eibach on the car for the past 2k miles and it's great imo. This combo is comparable to coilovers on my other car but of course without the adjustability. Plus I have the Whiteline sway bars/endlinks with the diff. bushings and f/r strut bars. This car can do circles around my previous coilovers SRT-4. |
