18x8.5 w/ 245-40-18 on '05 sti
what offset would I need to go with to avoid rubbing? or should I just go with a 40mm offset and use 235s?

Probably close to 48 like I am using
245/40/18 w/ 18 X 8.5 +48 5 X 100 I had to roll my fender since I have an '04. But I think '05 should have a wider rear fender. Or you could mimic S203's wheel spec being 18 X 8.5 + something. |
