Not to hijack but is it because your exhaust is to close to something?

I have them. I got them because my GReddy Ti-C was sitting extremely close to my bumper and didn't want a siht stain on my bumper or for it to even melt it. Doesn't look really any different? I don't think anyone would get them for looks...

I have them but unfortunately I can not provide pics as my car is sleeping in my garage while I'm hanging out in iraq. When I first installed my GT30 turbo, I was shooting flames 6 feet long out the exhaust pipe. It ended up melting my rear bumper cover a bit so I got the longer exhaust hangers a CF exhaust shield. Thats about the only purpose you would want them. It makes the exhaust hang about another 1/2" lower.

I have them on my Forester
I put them on after installing the Subaru trailer hitch and a Prodrive axleback because the hitch assembly was just touching the muffler tip. I needed just a small amount of space and it was the best way to go.
I can post pics later if I remember of both before and after.
The Kartboy Xtra long hangers are for just my type of situation. They are much stiffer also.

As for looks, They are shiny black when new. I've seen STI pink hangers but they are hard to come by

I'm at work now so I will try and post pics later

Here are the pics I promised

Before
If you look at the top of the muffler tip more toward the middle you can see how little space there was

After

You can see there is a good amount of difference. I only did the 2 on the can and left the other at the stock length. The muffler does'nt move at all

The KB's can also take a lot more abuse if you do a alot of removing and swapping. They are very strong and well made.

Horrible pic to show the gap, but it's the only pic I have of my exhaust.

The hangars created about an inch gap between the bumper and the exhaust tip, as opposed to the odd looking and possibly melted-bumper creating 1/8" it was before.
