Is anyone going to Automotions in the Dells this year? I would like to get a group together to cruise with if anyone is willing to.

So, I plan to leave Milwaukee around 5pm this Friday. I'm meeting up with some friends at the Carousael Inn to drink and hang until the morning. The car show is in Noah's Ark parking lot and it's FREE! Lots of old cars and everyone that has a "nice" car cruises the strip all day in the Dells.

I'll be heading up Friday afternoon. We should be on the road from the Waukesha area around 4:30.

Automotion was a fun weekend. Saw a lot of WRX's and STi's up there. Was nice to be the only Legacy that I was aware of

Sorta new to the area. I'm looking for a good shop to do the 90k maintenance service on my wrx. Anyone have a shop they recommend or that has done good work?

Synergy Tuning.. Get familiar with our forum on FB as well.. Type SEWSC in the search bar.. Almost all of us have pretty much migrated to there

Sounds to me like warped rotors. If you bed them correctly it's really the only cure I see. What bed-in procedure did you use?

Most recently, Yesterday- After installing everything again for the third time, I brought it up to 40mph and applied the brakes for the stop I had to make and it immediately shuddered. I then proceeded to attempt to bed them the way centric recommends 5 60-5 stops allowing a little time inbetween for them to cool, It shimmeyed every time. I lost the stomach to do any more bedding after the 3rd and it shimmeyed on my way to work under light braking. It does it anywhere above 35mph. Where as before it was only above 60.

The shudder is coming through the steering wheel and is pretty violent, it only happens when braking. The car accelerates, and coasts smooth and straight.

I jacked it up and poked around for a minute this morning, I didn't see any dry-rot or cracking at all on anything. Is there a better way to check this stuff?

if the car is secured on jack stands, you can try to see if there's excess play in the control arm mounting points. It could also be that it is in fact only the brakes causing the vibration.
