Impreza WRX STi 04 STi DOM 3.0R Dyno 433WHP 445 lb/ft

This is Roly's new set-up!

He had this turbo in his house for months now... and decided to give it a try and let the VF39 rest.

Here are the results...

Dyno Vid-- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KOk80btveZo

Besides what he had on the VF39 set-up, he added...

Blouch 3.0R Turbo
Ebay TMIC
ACT Clutch
850cc Injectors

This was done on VP racing fuel. As always his tuner is Miguel Alcrudo from ATP (Auto Plaza Tuners).

The big questions is... what can he do at the track with those #

If he ran 11.71 @ 116 with the VF39 set-up (around 350WHP)... what can he do with almost 100WHP more! Time will tell, best of luck to him.

BTW- Stock turbo guys Roly is not done with the VF39. When you drives as many fast cars as he does you tend to get bored after a while. I guess it's time for the Dominator 3.0R crowd to see what their turbo is really capable off (1/4 mile wise...)

Seriously.

Get him a 35R so he can beat the "all boost 35R" time from PR.

How'd he get 350whp from a 39? That thing only flows enough to get 350 to the crank, or so I thought?

will be nice to see a comparo on what +100 more whp does with a competent driver and good conditions.

Will the extra wheelspin be a factor, will the faster shifting be a factor, will the slower boost response be a factor.

Lots of IF's when you shift the powerband higher and to the right.

Let's hope the track results come out just as suprising as the v-39's did.

Some people get more... some people get less, depends on the dyno. Even if the turbo is max out, you can still improve the engine VE by other methods (to name a few headwork, cams, cut out, EWG and so on). What's important is that it trap 114-116 with the VF39. That should be more than enough proof of the power he was making.

Subscribed for times. It's great to see people actually turning the 1/4 mile times that their stated dyno HP warrants.

Roly's only pass last night was 11.34 @ 118. Man I can only get 11.69 out of 118 traps... Roly can get you 11.3!

This is a nice start for this set-up, more to come.
